Facility Information

Vanishing Veins® of Oklahoma is a division of Radiology Consultants, PC, in Oklahoma City. We are a full service diagnostic and treatment center for the entire spectrum of venous disorders, from cosmetic spider veins to the larger and more unsightly varicose veins. We offer a free initial consultation and, if necessary, a more comprehensive medical evaluation and ultrasound examination to determine the extent of any venous abnormalities. Our physicians are fellowship trained and use the only the latest imaging technology and minimally invasive surgical techniques to provide you with the most advanced state-of-the-art treatments in a comfortable and convenient office setting. Virtually all vein treatments can be performed in our office with minimally invasive techniques which allow for minimal recovery time and an excellent cosmetic result.

We are conveniently located in the Mercy tower on the campus of Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. There is free valet parking available for your visit to our office. Varicose vein treatment is often covered by insurance and we accept most insurance plans.


Staff
Robert A. Handley, Jr., MD, has an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and subsequently did a General Surgery Internship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. He then completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He is Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He has extensive experience in image guided procedures and has a special interest in dialysis access interventions and other venous procedures. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Phlebology. In addition to his medical training Dr. Handley has pilot licenses for both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters and enjoys recreational scuba diving.
 
Gin Wang, MD has an undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and she received her medical degree from the Duke University in Durham, NC. She completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Texas at Houston and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She is Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. She has extensive training in image guided oncologic procedures and is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
 
Deborah Walls, PA-C had a Diploma in Nursing from Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa; Bachelor of Arts Degree from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Central Oklahoma; and a Master of Health Science (with Distinction) in the Physician Assistant program from the University Of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American College of Phlebology. She has completed additional training in Sclerotherapy. Deborah has had many years of nursing experience and eight year experience as a PA in critical care and pulmonary medicine and almost three years experience in treating venous disease.
